Question: What hair services does New Hair System offer?

Answer:

We specialize in custom hair replacement systems (lace wigs, hairpieces) and hair extensions (micro-cylinder AKA micro-ring, Microchet method) for all.

Question: What are micro-cylinder (micro-ring) extensions and how do they work?

Answer:

Tiny tubes (micro-cylinders or micro-rings) are used to attach the strands of extensions to your own hair, utilizing our special technique. These tubes are super light-weight so that the extensions feel and look natural, and strong enough to hold. Applied correctly, this method will not damage your hair. No glue or chemicals are involved. Ths method can also be used for weft extensions. The tubes come in different colors to match your hair.

Question: What are Microchet extensions and how do they work?

Answer:

This method requires a highly skilled technician to attach the extensions. There is a loop of thread on the strand of extensions, and the technician has to crochet the loop utilizing a patented technique. Extensions done this way are virtually undetectable. We use Microchet for clients with low hair density or those with very thin sensitive hair.

Question: How long do hair extensions last?

Answer:

It really depends on the upkeep of your hair, and the extensions can last anywhere from 3 to 4 months. Hair grows about half an inch a month, so naturally, the original position of the hair extension endpoints will change over time. At this point, we can move up the hair extensions and re-attach them.

Question: What kind of hair do you use?

Answer:

We use 100% Eurasian-virgin human hair. “Virgin” refers to hair that has not been chemically treated prior to harvest. All of our extensions are also remy hair, where cuticles are intact and pointing the same direction. This is important because remy hair is less likely to tangle.

Question: Where are you located?

Answer:

We’re located in a commercial-residential zone, at 745 Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90005. Pull into the driveway and drive all the way to the back, as there is private parking reserved only for you!

Question: What are your business hours?

Answer:

Monday – Friday from 9AM to 6PM, and Sunday from 1PM to 6PM. We do recommend that you make an appointment prior to visit, because same day walk-in service is rare. Sometimes we extend our hours depending on the client’s needs. Please contact us for details.

Question: Who supplies the hair for New Hair System?

Answer:

We have various factories overseas that manufacture and harvest the hair, and we make sure it’s built to our standards.

Question: How can I get my hands on New Hair System’s top quality hair?

Answer:

If you’re interested in purchasing a large sum of hair from us, we can get you in touch with Andy to discuss wholesale.

Question: How much are hair extensions and hair replacement systems?

Answer:

The pricing depends on several factors. The condition of client’s hair, length, style, quality, method/technique used, and etc. A full set of hair extensions or hair replacement systems can range anywhere from $800 to $2000. Please set up a free consultation with our experts to discuss the ultimate look you want to achieve.

Yes we’re aware of all the Internet sites out there selling “custom hairpieces” for couple of hundred dollars or less, but we don’t mind them because we have so many clients coming in regretting such purchase. After all how “custom” is it if you’re not meeting with the technician and getting measured? You get what you paid for.

Question: I’m a Costmetology licensee, and I’m interesting in learning more. Is there a training program?
